New to SAU 20?

As a public school system, we welcome all students who live within our district's boundaries and meet state age and health requirements. For specific enrollment information, please look up the attendance boundaries for your address.

  • Proof of Residency
    1. Please submit evidence establishing you and your child’s physical presence in the school district. Such evidence may include:
    2. A copy of a residential lease or proof of ownership of a house, such as a deed or a mortgage statement.
    3. A statement by a third-party landlord, owner or tenant from whom the parent is in a lease with whom they share property within the district, which must be sworn
    4. Such other statement by a third party establishing the parent(s) or person(s) in parental relation’s physical presence in the district; and/or other forms of documentation, which may include, but will not be limited to:
      1. Pay stub
      2. Utility or another bill
      3. Official driver’s license
      4. State or other government-issued identification
      5. Documents issued by federal, state or local agencies
      6. Evidence of custody of the child, including but not limited to judicial custody orders or guardianship papers.
  • Proof of Age
    1. The district will require documentation and/or information establishing your child’s age. Please supply a birth certificate giving the date of birth. Where such documentation is not available, a passport may be used. Other evidence may include, but will not be limited to the following:
      1. Official driver’s license
      2. State or other government-issued identification
      3. Military dependent identification card
      4. Documents issued by federal, state or local agencies indicating a birth date
      5. Court orders or other court-issued documents
  • Immunizations and Physical
    1. The district must also receive evidence that your child has been immunized in accordance with the New Hampshire State Department of Health Immunization Bureau’s Immunization Requirements for School Entrance/Attendance. These records will be necessary to ensure your child’s continued attendance
    2. Additionally, please provide us with records of any recent physical examination your student has received
    3. All children will need to submit, evidence of:
      1. A current physical examination (less than 1 year old) AND
      2. A completed or in-process immunization history:
        1. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​DTP / DT / DTaP / Td (Diptheria, Tetanus, Pertussis):
          1. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Five (5) doses recommended OR three to four (3-4) doses as long as the last dose is on or after the 4th birthday.
        2. Td (Tetanus Booster):
          1. i. One (1) dose 10 years since last tetanus containing vaccine.
        3. Polio:
          1. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Three (3) doses of an all IPV or all OPV schedule (last dose after the 4 th birthday) OR
          2. Four (4) doses of any combination of IPV or OPV (last dose must be given after the 4th birthday)​​​
        4. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Measles:
          1. By 7th grade, two (2) doses of measles-containing vaccine.
        5. Rubella and Mumps:
          1. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​One (1) dose of rubella and mumps-containing vaccines
        6. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Hepatitis B Vaccine:
          1. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Three (3) doses if born after 01/01/1993
        7. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Varicella (Chickenpox):
          1. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​History of the disease as reported by parent or health care provider OR
          2. One (1) dose of vaccine except two (2) doses needed if first dose given after 13 years of age.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The vaccines and doses above are the minimum requirements for school attendance.

Re-Enrollment Forms & Alma School Links

Below are two guides to help with re-enrollment and the re-enrollment alma links for each school! Re-enrollment forms are due every year at the beginning of the year.
